Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Vancouver International Airport to Whitehorse

• Make your way to Vancouver International Airport to meet your guide at the Air North check-in counter (meeting time TBC).
• Check in for your flight with your guide and proceed to the gate.
• Flight departs for Whitehorse – complimentary snacks served onboard.
• Arrive in Whitehorse, where a representative will greet you.
• Enjoy a city tour and walk along Main Street for souvenir shopping.
• Check in at your lodge accommodations.
• Gourmet group dinner at the lodge.
• Late night/early morning opportunity to view the Northern Lights.
• Evening campfire and s’mores with your guide.

Day 2: Whitehorse

• 9:00 AM – Breakfast at your accommodation.
• Depart for a tour of Carcross.
• Activities may include hiking the Carcross Desert, walking by the lake, and photographing totem poles (weather dependent).
• Optional Activity: Half-day dog sledding (additional cost).
• Lunch included.
• 7:00 PM – Group dinner at the lodge.
• Another opportunity to view the Northern Lights.
• Evening campfire.

Day 3: Whitehorse to Vancouver International Airport

• 9:00 AM – Breakfast at your accommodation.
• Packed lunch provided for the journey.
• Depart for the Whitehorse Airport for your return flight (departure time TBC).
• Flight departs for Vancouver International Airport.
• Upon arrival at YVR:
  • Meet your homestay parent at the Domestic Arrivals area, or
  • If using public transit, your guide will escort you to the SkyTrain platform.
